[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had many shredders through out my life and this one is by the best. I love how quiet it is compared to other shredders. Also the size of the shredder is perfect size to tuck under my desk at home. But it's not so small that I have to dump it out everytime I use it. I definitely recommend trying it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shredder was quite efficient when It came to shredding paper quickly! It shredded a bunch of papers we received from our daughter’s school that cluttered up our counters very quickly! It fits quite nicely tucked in a corner of our dining room. Pros: worked quickly through a lot of paper and held quite bit of shredded junk mail. I also like that It has a small window so you can see when you need to dump the paper. Cons: I wish It had handles on the bin itself for more conventional carrying. It was also a bit loud. Overall handy little shredder!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Staples 15 Sheet Cross Cut Shredder is efficient fast and as quiet a unit as I've encountered. The safety guard on the top is a great feature and not one I've seen before in similar models. The bin capacity is great for home use (or lower volume offices). The machine makes quick work of multiple sheets at a time. The footprint of the unit is compact and fits nicely in my home office.

It's affordable user-friendly and effectively turns documents into confetti-like pieces for secure disposal. For occasional shredding it's efficient enough. It handles up to 12 sheets at a time which is sufficient for most personal documents. However it might struggle with thicker papers or large batches. Additionally the run time is limited requiring cool down periods after extended use which can disrupt your workflow for bigger shredding jobs. The shred size is decent. It offers cross-cut shreds which provide good security for most personal documents. The bin capacity is also reasonable for home use. It holds a good amount of shredded paper before needing to be emptied. The compact size makes it ideal for home office environments. It easily fits on a desk or under the desk without taking up too much space. Using it is straightforward. Simply plug it in feed the paper through the designated slot and press the button. The noise level is relatively quiet compared to some other models making it suitable for use around family members. In Summary: The Staples 12 Sheet Cross Cut Shredder is a decent option for occasional shredding tasks in a home office setting. It's affordable user-friendly and offers secure shredding. Great shredder

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This paper shredder works great. I would say the noise level is pretty standard for a shredder…not quiet but not more noisy than usual. It did an incredible just shredding everything from checks to papers to credit cards. It makes the pieces VERY small and when I inserted 18 sheets of paper the shredder stopped and I was able to reverse the shredder to release the pages. The bin capacity is a decent size. In all the things I’ve shredded it didn’t fill up. For heavy use it would need emptied more often but for home use it’s going to fit my needs well.

Great shredder

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Staples 12 sheet cross cut shredder has met and exceeded my expectations! It is very efficient and has a decent sized bin so it doesn't need to be emptied daily. It's super easy to use and handy that it can handle up to 12 pages. We keep it next to our desk and have found it very convenient to shred junk mail as it's received. I appreciate the cross cut for added security. The noise level is about the same as youd expect wirh any household shredder but it's very fast so it doesn't last long. Overall I like this shredder and would recommend it!

Great shredder

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the Staples 12 Sheets Cross Cut Shredder. It did not come with a manual but pretty self explanatory. There was a bit of trial and error getting it to work at first. The shredder will not operate unless the top is snuggly fit down. I could not get the blue go light to come on and operate till I practically hit the top of each side down even though it looked as if it was placed properly. I also had to hit it down after having it off between shreds. Other than those few hiccups it has been working great. It is slim line so fits right in beside my front door table where I accumulate random papers kids school work and mail. I can take care of all the junk papers instantly instead of it piling up. Helps me be accountable and more organized! It is not overly loud and I love that I do not have to remove staples. I have not tried with paper clips yet. Easy way to get rid of old credit/debut cards as well. It is not overly heavy so it is easy to get rid of the shreds. The waste bin holds a pretty good amount too.

Paper shredder

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To anyone looking for an in home paper shredder this is the best one! While I don’t regularly use a shredder it comes in very handy with mail that I would prefer shredded as well as old credit cards. I no longer fear throwing stuff away and someone else getting ahold of it. This paper shredder is super efficient and smooth while shredding anything you can barely even tell it’s on. I haven’t had any jams yet and it continues to work flawlessly. I think this shredder is the perfect size for a home space it’s not too big but also not too small where you have to empty it all the time. We keep it in our laundry room and it barely takes up any room. I highly recommend this paper shredder for anyone looking for something medium sized and super efficient!
