One Bad UX Element Makes this product a disaster

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me be incredibly clear in this review - induction is AMAZING. The oven works wonderfully, and induction cooking works incredibly.
This product, on the other hand, is a fool's errand in user experience engineering - hopefully driven by poor management.
There are a few issues with this product, and I will list them from the minor to the worst:
1. Air Fry is neat, but it doesn't work like air fryer instructions direct you to on products. That creates an issue where you're always guessing how much time to put something in for. It's not something I've figured out yet.
2. The induction zones are a good medium size, but they're still too small for several of my pots and pans. This causes overlap with the touchscreen front control. While it mostly works, it makes me incredibly anxious placing parts of pots over the "keep pots above this line" line.
3. And the worst, most heinous part of this entire thing - is the front touch control panel. This is a UX disaster, and the worst thing I've ever had to deal with in my life. The newer the product is, the less like an issue it'll seem, but even as time goes on it seems to get worse and worse - even while keeping my range the cleanest appliance in the entire household. The real problem with this panel is that it is capacitive touch. What does that mean? That means if you spill water on it, or even some oils, it'll start thinking you're touching it. This might change a pot temperature or do nothing. But then if it detects continued touching (which, even immediately wiping up water I've had issues with it no longer detecting phantom touch) it'll shut off all your burners! And if you can't get it working right, it'll lock you at for an amount of time that is incredibly inconvenient, that I have yet to figure out the exact amount - but seems to be around 5~10 minutes. Imagine, if you will, your stovetop just stops working in the middle of cooking dinner. This seems to be a fortnightly occurrence in my house since purchasing this appliance and it is INCREDIBLY frustrating. I never felt like I was going to be old enough to have to yell about everything switching to touch screens - but this.. this is where it became a terrible decision.

Love this oven!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first induction range. I've used electric for 17 years. We moved and our new home had a gas range. I was looking forward to trying gas, but after three years I am not a fan. I have always been a fan of Frigidaire and when I saw this induction range I jumped at the chance to buy it! The ease of cleaning the top alone is worth the purchase compared to dismantling a gas stove to clean after every meal. I use soapy water alone to clean the top. I have the cleaners recommended by Frigidaire, but foumd soapy water works just fine. This oven has 15 different ways to use it. I mill my own flour for homemade bread and the bread proof option in this oven is perfect. I haven't had a chance to use the pizza stone option yet, but definitely want to try it. I highly recommend this oven and would definitely purchase it again.

Highly recommend the Frigidaire induction stove

Induction is far superior for control over the heat when cooking. The pizza oven setting is fabulous. It cooks pizza just as well as our outdoor wood burning pizza oven. The surface is easily cleaned annd looks very sleek. Extremely happy with our purchase.

Induction Stove

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It looks nice and slick. Minimal spots and parts where grease can get stuck (no knobs!) Easy to clean. I love the stone-baked pizza function, didn’t try it yet, but can’t wait to use that. For sure it’s best to carefully read the instructions before first use, since it is a bit different from regular electric stove. The cooktop needs to be treated with ceramic cooktop cleaning cream before starting to use it. Overall we are happy to have this appliance in our home.

First induction stove...love it and the pizza stone bake option
