So far so good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hard to review such a major appliance in such a short time of purchasing but so far so good. We bought the same dimensions as the last ref/freezer but the storage capacity seems a little smaller. Odd the water dispenser is in the door but I guess when figuring the energy efficiency you took into account the door opening.
Lastly it came with no manual but having a hard time finding it online

Freezes the food on the top two shelves - temp set at recommended

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were excited to buy this SbS Refrigerator after our previous Frigidaire stopped working after 10 years. Purchase date 5/17/2025
At first we were skeptical about the tiny ice cube maker to keep us in ice cubes, however after a week we knew it would keep up with our demand.
The downside - the air filter that is along the top shelf down the middle. You canNOT have anything on this shelf or it will freeze everything. After several months of moving items to the far outside of the top shelf and keeping nothing on the top shelf or it will freeze, we then this morning found the two cartons of eggs we had on the lower shelf were all frozen solid.
We double checked that the temperature was set to recommended - yes it was.
Now we have two shelves in this refrigerator we cannot have food set.
We've played with the temperature setting for several months trying to find if we can keep food at the approximate ideal temp of 33 to 40 degrees. While the refrigerator can keep this setting - it continues to freeze items along the center wall next to the freezer frozen.
I'm greatly disappointed. While I'm thinking this is not strictly a brand name issue - as almost all appliances appear to look the same in design and style, I am disappointed in this refrigerator / freezer side by side.

Refrigerator performing great

2 minor issues/things to understand:
1. Refrigerator side, top shelf has cold air vent - if leave liquid (water, coke) in front of the vent it will freeze.
2. Temperature control on side of fridge door gets touched, changing temp settings on both fridge and freezer. To easy/accessible to change by accident.

Love the water dispenser in the door!
