The convenience of having fresh ice readily available is a game-changer, especially for someone like me who loves staying hydrated and hosting outdoor gatherings. Great for the Family!

This fridge has been great! It's quite spacious and very easy to see inside with the bright internal lights. The side cubbies hold quite a bit as well and are very sturdy. I really like how easy it is to install all the filters (water, air, and fresh drawer). Installation was super easy too which is always a bonus because the bottom had wheels underneath that helped it easily slide right into place, which is especially great if you need to move it by yourself. All-in-all, it's been great, and my small kids really love it too (they think it's so cool how they can reach up and fill their cups with water).

Bunch of annoyances, but so far keeps cold.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The control panel is astoundingly easy to activate and modify unintentionally. I had grabbed something out of the fridge before going to bed, opened it in the morning and the freezer was set to the warmest setting somehow. Fridge setting has also changed unknowingly multiple times. Way too easy to activate. Also hard to read the markings unless in full-on direct light, which you won't get from the fridge and may get from other lights if they're in the right spot.
I wish the freezer shelves were actually adjustable position-wise, and I feel the ice bucket is waaayyy too big. It takes up so much space and takes a surprisingly long time to make ice.
The water dispenser is interesting in that it's a halfway decent compromise between having the dispenser through the door front, or inside the fridge area itself, but it dribbles water so much that I'm worried something's going to get shorted out. And it's not cold water, just filtered. Thought it was hilarious that the instructions said "to enjoy cold water from this fridge, add ice to you cup and fill with water from the dispenser." Good lord. Would've been intriguing if they had put the dispenser on the outside edge of the fridge or freezer door, so you don't have to open the fridge anyway just to get room temp (albeit filtered) water, but this is a good enough compromise.
I like that the access panel at the back of the fridge is metal instead of that awful cardboard stuff that falls apart upon installation/removal.
It -does- run seemingly constantly, which if that means it's operating normally, that's fine. But where do I find that reassurance? Not in the manual, beyond some vague statement about "due to the high performance top of the line compressor, your unit MAY in SOME CASES run for an extended period of time, but that's only because it's so fine-tuned and precise trying to keep the fridge at the exact right temp." That's all well and good, but please tell me exactly what it's doing to try to attempt this, because the fridge operation gives the distinct impression that it's trying its hardest to maintain the temp in the fridge. Vauge assurances = bad ; operational details and specific design intents = good.
There has to be a better way to protect the outside of appliances nowadays. I can guarantee that I have NO LESS than a square foot of scrap, teeny tiny pieces of plastic wrap all under the trim of my fridge in various places. Makes the fridge look cheap.
Overall, fridge runs, it's relatively quiet, keeps my food cold/frozen, dispenses filtered water with an automatic ice maker. We'll see about its overall longevity and parts availability.

Free product design and manufacturing advice.

From an assembly process point of view there was a lack of quality control at least for appearances.
First the door seals were not installed the same way, were the supposed to be tucked in to the sheet metal or not? Even if it does not matter to the function of the fridge, it makes the quality look terrible for what would amount to 60 seconds of work.
The expanding foam injection points were not cleaned up and plenty of foam was visible. at other points as well. Again a few more seconds of work to make it look presentable.
The handles were not cleaned before the protective film was put on, not a big deal, but it seems crumby to get dirty hardware out of the box.
The product sticker (with the model and serial numbers) was also very crooked. Granted this doesn't matter, but clearly they must under pay their employees if the employees can't feel the need to put a little effort into placing a sticker correctly. And I don't mean that it need to be supper preces but when the sticker is at a 20° angle it's just sad.
Now from a functional design view.
The toe grill does not fully snap into place for the model I received, which means the design is not functional with the allowed tolerances. Which means either the part should be held to tighter tolerances (more expensive) or a redesign is needed.
A further redesign would be to make the doors even upon shipping. Granted the reason it is currently done this way is so that the doors are stabilized by the lower hinge brackets. Perhaps a it would be better to add more slots so that the brackets can be moved during assembly and still support the door during transit. On a similar vein the size of the nut for the door adjustment was incorrectly label in the included manual, which said the nut was 12mm when it was 7/16". That is not even the same measurement system let alone the wrong size. Does anyone proof read that thing?
The leveling feet's did not have enough access for normal tools to easily adjust them. Either a redesign is need or a thin flat wrench should be included with each refrigerator.
The biggest issue by far is that one of the components is making a loud annoying noise. Especially because I have had the refrigerator for about a week. I am unable to give customer service a recording of the noise so they could not help troubleshoot it at all. With my admittedly limited knowledge I believe it is one of following three components: the damping motor, water valve, or compressor.
I have the ice maker removed and the water dispenser tuned off so if it's the water valve that means it is still trying to work for no reason which is a poor controls design. If its one of the other parts that means either the quality control is so bad that bad parts are getting shipped or the design team decided annoying noises are acceptable for an appliance that is often in ear shot of most people's living spaces, which does not bode well for their critical thinking.
In all I am not satisfied with the refrigerator and will be attempting to return it and get one from a different brand that actually cares about their product and the end user.

Nice frig with a lot of features for the price

The controls for freezer and frig are on the side of the door with lights so you can easily adjust. Butter, vegetable crisper and meat bins. Easy clean shelves and lots of smart storage space.

Ridiculously Loud

I called for a service ticket and the FIRST thing they say is, “ It looks like you have a problematic machine, how about an extended service plan?” Unbelievable! They can’t send someone out for 1.5 weeks! So, I called another service provider who said this is a common problem! I need a replacement machine!

Frigidaire has a horrible product. I bought a refrigerator less than a month ago, and bottom of the piece which cover the electric wires wasn’t even, so I called the service provider which they submitted the pictures and created a ticket order to Frigidaire. Frigidaire denied it, said this is cosmetic issue doesn’t cover by the warranty. Everyone should take a consideration before you buy this product.
