HDMI Port Doesn't Work

I bought this product because my laptop (Lenovo Flex 5) only has 1 HDMI port and I wanted to connect another screen. The HDMI port does not work on this product and Lenovo support is only available by calling a toll free number. Frustrating experience.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
