Much better than compatible type hub

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After I got my on June this year, my first USB-C hub was a "Dodocool" compatible, mainly to connect my external monitor (a Dell 32"), but also for mouse and keyboard. In general it worked, only that every now and then, the external screen would black out for a few seconds. Then a month a go, after one MS Windows upgrade, my external mouse and keyboard stopped working. This, combining with the screen black-out, made me (wrongly) thought that the "Dodocool" compatible hub was to blame, so I got this Lenovo one. It turns out that the mouse and keyboard issue was from MS upgrade, b/c after the next upgrade (happened a week later), that issue was gone. But I am still happy with my purchase of this Lenovo hub. After switching to this one, not only the black-out issue stopped happening, I notice that the images on screen are now more crispy.
Only one complaint: the male plug on the cord is a bit too big for the socket on my X1. It fits so tight that when never I need to unplug it, I need to use my other hand to hold the X1 firmly, and do a forceful pull as if I am pulling out a nail from wood with my fingers.

Works well, except it interferes with microphone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have used all the various ports on this and everything seems to work well as advertised. The only issue I have found to date is that when it is plugged in to my X1 Yoga, my built in microphone does not seem to work properly for Zoom-type conversations (no sound). As soon as I unplug the hub, my microphone resumes working. I have not done any troubleshooting on this -- there may be a simple solution -- it was just expedient to unplug it to continue my conversation when it happened.

Good Accessory with a MAJOR Flaw.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, this is a fine product, which performs well and serves its declared purpose (I actually have two of them). BUT - there is a huge flaw, which makes me wonder - why did a leading manufacturer of foldable laptops failed to address one major problem - use this Hub with a laptop in a tent mode.
When you consider the Hub having HDMI connection, you will want to connect it to an external monitor for work or gaming. In case you also use an external keyboard and mouse, then it is only natural to use the laptop in a tent mode (I will attach the pictures).
This is where the main problem comes to life - the connection cable of the Hub is TOOOOO short to connect to a USB-C slot and stay laying flat on the desk. It looks ugly, feels cumbersome and will definitely shorten the lifespan of the connector cable.
By the way, the same problem with happen if you try to use the Hub with one of the Lenovo tablets - the cable is not long enough.

Perfect for working at home

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Working exactly as intended. The unit itself is small so it doesn't take a lot of space and is not bulky so it doesn't mess up the tidiness of the working space. As someone who works from home, it is the perfect fit for me.

Good product with a huge design flaw

The hub works well overall, but as all other devices of this kind has one major flaw!
The connection cord of the hub is too short to use it in the tent mode of any of the Lenovo 2-in-1 laptops - the hub hangs in the air with all the chords attached to it - looks bad and damages the USB-C socket.
Now, while it is somewhat forgivable for other manufacturers, with Lenovo - the company for 2-in-1's it is not!!!
And keep in mind, with yoga devices, when you connect it to a second monitor on your desk, Trent mode is the only one that really makes sense.
You will have the same issue with every detachable device as well.
