[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The USB-C hub is nice and solid in an attractive understated design. If your laptop is powered through USB-C then you can use the passthrough port and power your laptop by plugging your power supply into the hub. If you want to use the HDMI for video output make sure your USB-C port on the laptop features video output. Not all USB-C ports provide video output so read the manual for your laptop. Like many USB-C hubs this one doesn't have any video chip inside. I do wish it had a longer cable.

My only issue is when i have it hooked up via HDMI to my second monitor it sometimes flickers the screen, which never happened previously with just a standard HDMI
