Smooth, quite, good resistance settings, LCD readout works great. Great cardio exercise. I use standing and it's easy to balance or hold on to a chair back(etc) if you have balance issues. Easy assembly with all required tools included.

I had surgery in 2017 and I had to learn to walk again and use my dominant hand. Now I’m up and moving but my balance is off and I need to get STRONG, so I brought this.
I like that this Strider is compact and easy to assemble.
I think we only had 3 pieces to attach, the peddle arms, rear stabilizer and base board.

I have a chair at the side of the Strider so I can use it as a guide for getting on and off. The meter shows my count, time, calories, and distance. The meter cycles through these numbers while working out. Today I see my count was 130, exciting to me low to others.
I have not tried the Strider in a sitting workout yet. I’m excited about this Strider.

My machine is as advertised. It was easy to put together. My only concern is periodically is seems to make noises. i can't tell if there is something loose or something needs to be greased.

This is an excellent exercise option for those who do not have a lot of space. The stepper is resistant enough to provide a solid workout -- took me about 30 minutes to master the balance aspect. Also highly portable to move anywhere. The step range of motion is smaller than a full size exercise machine, but still enough to get the heart rate up.

Overall I was pleased with the size, ease of assembly and sitting function of this device. However, I specifically purchased it for standing and use as an elliptical exercise. It is very difficult to maintain balance in the standing position and (although I am well under the weight maximum) the track wheels have created a rut in the track after only several uses.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The stamina E-1000 operates like a full size Elliptical. By design it makes you work. It lets you get a full fledged work out at home. I love the product. I am US Army retired after 20 years of service and wish I had known about the product while I was in the service. It would have went with me when I went overseas.
