I use Stamina InMotion E1000 at home while working at my computer. I average about 20 miles a day on it. I have an adjustable stand at or sit at desk. I use the strider while sitting. I have a standard office desk chair with wheels. The chair doesn’t move or make noise while using the strider. The strider is quiet enough that it doesn’t interfere with either my phone calls or webinars. I have already recommended this product to co- workers and family. In fact I took mine to my aunts home for her to try. She is basically unable to walk for more than 40 feet without getting tired. She is nearly 70 years old. After trying it once for 12 minutes she bought one and is now doing 30 minutes a day on it. That is nothing but amazing. Thank you Stamina!

One month after I received it the left pedal started squeaking (only going backwards) and it seems to be getting worst.

Thank you for that feed back. To help control the squeaking noise you can use silicone spray on the crank and on the wheels, just be sure to wipe them clean prior to applying. A very good product for its purpose. Portable and sturdy. However, it’s squeaks on every revolution when used while in a standing position and it’s brand new. We tried oil as recommended by customer service but it did not make a difference.

Thank you for your review. If you are experiencing a squeak while using the Compact Strider first check that your base plate is right side up with the foam pieces touching the ground. The next thing you can do is make sure the rollers are free from debris and add a silicone spray to them. I just got it so I haven't been using it that long. The right wheel makes noise sometimes and can be annoying, but other than that it's good. Very easy to use. I use it while watching TV and my daughter has started using it too. Other than the wheel noise, I would recommend it! A great and easy way to exercise!
