Good and bad

Would have give a 5 star, I really like it, except the hose started leaking at the fitting at the pump. No way to repair or replace the hose. Good compressor and battery but unusable.

Love the pump, but a few questions.

I've been using this pump for months now, and it works pretty well. One small negative is that the instructions note that the air pressure displayed on the pump is not accurate, and they suggest using a separate pressure meter to verify the pressure. Sure enough, the pressure noted on the pump is 1 or 2 PSI less than the actual needed pressure. So I have to set the pump to 37PSI in order to get an accurate 35PSI, and double-check with a manual pressure meter. As I say, minor negative.
I'm wondering if it's possible to get a longer hose because I have to bend over in my garage in order to hold on to the pump while it's pumping. I don't know if the hose is removable but that would be a great feature. Also, the chuck at the end of the hose is at a right angle to the hose. Is it possible to buy a chuck that is in line with the hose?

Awesome Inflator

I have the slightly older discontinued model with the soft carry bag yet I LOVE mine and I'm sure this newer model is even better. The built in digital gauge is 100% accurate and the other features are great. I have inflated totally deflated car tire while on the car with absolutely zero problems and no over heating so it can surly handle any other inflation job.

Very Disappointed

Very disappointed. Mostly have had good luck with SunJoe products. I've had this for a couple years but used it only a few times. Hose broke off. Cannot buy replacement hose. Have to replace entire basic unit. Receiving a small discount, but this is a lot of aggravation. Plus, now have flat tire.

Will not be without one!

Best I've used! I will order 2 more for each of my other cars. It is powerful and quick, even for my 4x4 with oversized tires. Great to have for offroad punctures with a plug kit in vehicle.

Easy to use for the first 5 times I used it then the hose ruptured and let all the air out of my tire while I was doing something else. Junk! Don't buy!

JUST WANT TO SAY I BOUGHT FOUR OF THESE PUMPS, JUST GREAT AND VERY HANDY. BATTERY LAST A LONG TIME NOT THE FASTEST BUT IT DOES THE JOB, SET IT AND WALK AWAY. IT SHUTS OFF BY IT SELF. Love the compact simplicity of this air compressor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a big fan of the sun joe family of products but this air compressor in particular is incredibly powerful, compact, and simple to use. I keep it in my Jeep with me at all times. Inflates sports balls, bike tires, even Jeep tires with almost no effort and the batter lasts forever. Good stuff!
