Perfect for many things

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one appliance that's perfect for many things. I love how quickly it heats water when I need it , From boiling or warm water . The size is great , it doesn't take up to much counter space. The digital buttons are easy to see and press. It even shuts off when the water level is too low . I can also set a timer for heating it up which is awesome , especially when I'm in a hurry. There's a small filter for cleaning whenever I see buildup. This product does get pretty hot on the outside. I would like for the cord to be just a little bit longer though.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never used the right temperature for making teas and wow what a difference! The flavor is so much better steeping it at the right temperature and at the the right time. This Zojirushi - VE Hybrid Water Boiler & Warmer is a wonderful invention indeed! With this, I always have a hot water ready for me to use for the kind of tea that I have. It is very easy to operate and easy to fill and empty. I can also use the hot water for making other things like ramen noodles, coffee, etc. Also the best thing about this is that it is has a vacuum option that keeps your water hot at 160. It is very easy to reboil if I need a hotter water. The swivel bottom is very convenient to move it around. The cord is not magnetic though but that is okey. Overall, I highly recommend it especially if you love drinking teas! The temperature and steeping time makes a whole lot of difference.

Product is ok. Several things that it doesn’t do as well as a now discontinued vacuum hybrid boiler (CV-DSC40) is:
1. Doesn’t have the magnetic plug anymore
2. Where the cord plugs into the boiler is very bulky and sticks out.
3. The slow dispense rate is too fast. It’s not as slow as there old one.
4. Could use better vacuum insulation

Don't like non-stick liner coating

I own an older model of this product, and absolutely love it. My only dissatisfaction is the non-stick coating on the stainless steel liner. Non-stick coatings are coming to be regarded as unhealthy for humans and the environment as a whole. I am especially concerned that the lining is continually exposed to HOT water, which I then drink...... I wish Zojirushi would come out with a version that is UN-COATED STAINLESS STEEL on the inside!!

Our Micom Water Boiler & Warmer CD-WHC40 does not have an interior coating and is an option for those who would like to not have a nonstick coated interior. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace a broken Panasonic NC-EG4000. I opted for the VE model because I hope it will be more energy efficient. Overall I like this product.
Pros: It is noticeably quieter than the Panasonic and heats quickly.
Cons: I wish it came in a white color option. I was surprised that it doesn’t have a magnetic quick disconnect cord. The pour speed is slower than my previous model— even when using the full speed dispense mode. For me that means an extra 10-15 seconds to make coffee every morning.
Overall I like this model, but after paying for the top of the line model I am a little bit disappointed. I’m not sure if there is a Zojirushi model that has a faster pour speed, but if there is I probably would prefer to have paid less and got that one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Zojirushi VE Hybrid water boiler and warmer about a week ago. I got it out this past weekend as my in laws were coming over and my mother in law loves (I mean loves) hot tea. I added water to the top and it didn’t seem very long before it was ready with hot water. She must have got about 4 coffee sized cups of water from it for her leaf style tea and said it was just right. She said how it was much more convenient than heating water on the stove or microwave and compared it to the hot on a water cooler. I wasn’t sure I was going to use it mush more when they left but decided to make a Ramon soup. Yes I’m an adult and yes I do like Ramon soup as a late night snack! Anyway turned the temp up and thought I would try it straight into the cup. It worked great, I mean great. No messing around in my usual microwave hot water only to spill half while trying to pour into the cup with noodles! It’s not overly large nor small. Keep in mind it has a decent sized water reservoir. I can’t say it uses a lot of electricity or not but for me, I’ll continue to use it at least on the weekends. In todays world if you work from home this is a necessity for everyday.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great addition on your countertop. Especially for those who wants their coffee or tea at a particular temperature. This is very easy to use. Simply fill the container with clean water and plug it in. It comes with 4 keep warm temperatures, 208/195/175/16. This is perfect for making your coffee, tea, cup noodles, instant oatmeal and even to blanche your vegetables. I like that you can keep the water at your desired temperature and it quickly boils or heat the water up. Dispensing water is easy as well. Just press unlock button then press dispense. Make sure to put your cup or container under the spout to avois spills and accident. I also like that the lid is removeable for easy cleanup. It has a very sturdy handle, so you can take it anywhere with you. It is very protable as well and power cord is removeable. Very useful because I use it everyday to warm my baby's milk and to make my coffee to start up my day and get ready for work. I am very happy with it!

This boiler is fantastic. I never thought I would use one, but once I started drinking more green teas, I’m very glad I decided to get this. I keep it at 175 degrees mainly for Sencha and Matcha. When I want boiling water for Hojicha and Genmaicha, the 175-degree water reaches boiling in about 20 seconds in my electric kettle. This saves a bunch of time for me, especially between meetings.
The timer function is also very convenient. I set it up every night so that it is ready to go with hot water in the morning.
The build quality is also very nice. You can tell it was made with pride and with the intention of a very long service life. No corners were cut here.
I am very glad I decided to get this boiler. I would honestly recommend it to anyone who wants hot water ready to go at the push of a button.
