I loved it but I didn’t really have much of a use for it I can do everything on it that I do on my iPhone 17 pro max it would definitely be great for the ones that don’t use their phone as often.

Hey Tara, thank you for sharing your honest feedback on the iPad A16.! We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the iPad, even if it wasn’t the perfect fit for your needs. It’s great to know it could be a wonderful option for those who don’t rely on their phone as much. We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience as it helps others make the best choice for themselves.
iPad is good. Was using 12.9 inch pro for work. Wanted something smaller to use as e-reader and a few other casual things.
The smaller iPad is a useful compliment to my larger iPad o use for work. And I was pleasantly surprised there wasn't much of a dip in quality going from pro to standard.
Two things: having to buy a new Apple Pencil is a real big annoyance.
Second: the smaller, standard version is handy as a second iPad. In hindsight I wish I went with the mini as my second iPad though. Oh well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Thanks for the review—glad you’re enjoying the 2025 iPad (A16) as a smaller companion to your iPad Pro, and that the quality still impressed you. Totally hear you on the annoyance of needing a new Apple Pencil, and your point about wishing you’d gone with the iPad mini is a great callout for anyone considering a second device.
