About 5 years ago when I got a new phone, I was looking at buying something from the Commuter series, when my then-boyfriend joked that I drop my phone too much and should really look at something in the Defender series.
Well that defender case lasted 5 years of abuse and that old phone still looks brand new because of it, so now when I was getting a new phone I didn’t want anything else.
Seriously, I’ve accidentally thrown my phone across rooms, dropped it every which way - nothing phases it in this case.
I would recommend this to a friend!

You know what happens with the OtterBox SlipCovers -- after months in a teenager's hand, they start to peel and tear. (Not complaining.). It used to be: to replace the cover, I would need to order the entire box. Now: Ordering the SlipCover only is a huge improvement and solid savings. Thanks for staying innovative and responsive to customer needs.

I’ve used this style of case on every iPhone I’ve had for many years. It has proven itself several times. I know some family members that also use this case and have some very impressive stories to tell about how this case protected their iPhones when dropped from crazy heights etc. Wouldn’t make since to try another case.
