This is my second otterbox defender I’ve used (2 different phones). There is nothing better to protect your phone. My last defender had the screen protector scratched up pretty good from being dropped so many times. Also, I never hesitated to let my niece and nephew play with my phone since I knew they couldn’t hurt it (unless dropped in water). When taking the otterbox off, my phone still looks brand new without a scratch.

I just upgraded to an iPhone 7, not an XS Max. The 7 is great for me. I’ve always had my phone on a belt-clip, like a gun. It’s very manly...hahahahaha!!!! I love OTTERBOX Defender Black. Awesome buy. Great looks. OTTERBOX gives skinny phone a bigger more many feel. Hahahaha!!!! Great protection for an expensive phone. Remember.... Manly men use OTTERBOX.

I LOVE Otterbox products. I have been using them for years. My husband had a less protective case and I recently convinced him to try this product. He is really glad he did. He had dropped him last phone (with the other less protective/other brand case) twice and both times screen broke. He now has the Otterbox case and feels more protective. I am so glad he is on board! Be careful if ordering as a gift. I didn't realize the custom color combo's did not come in traditional packaging. It was a gift and it was hard to give it with just the covers. It almost look liked I 'regifted' the case. The custom cost more and as a gift, I wanted a nicer presentation. This is the only reason I didn't give it a 5 star.
