The part you have to pull open to charge your is quite stiff but I assume will "wear" over time making it a little easier to open. But overall I'm always satisfied with OtterBox cases. I drop my phone often and its never been damaged.

I like the look and feel of the case and love the colors but I am concerned with the water resistance (or lack of) with the case. I knew about it going it so it is my fault but I dropped the case into a pan of water while camping. I pulled it out quickly but there was water that leaked into the case, causing my phone to get wet. I would consider buying this case again if it was improved to prevent water from getting in to keep the phone from damage as much as possible. I will never again buy a case that doesn't keep water out of it if I can help it. If I recommend it to a friend it will be with a water leakage warning.

This is the second Otterbox Defender series iPhone case I purchased. It worked so well protecting my iPhone 5, I got one for my new iPhone 7. These cases look great, are very protective, provide a nice grip to help hold the phone in your hand and it still fits in my jean’s pocket. I highly recommend these cases.
