I had a defender series slipcover for my iphone 5C, and it did a great job protecting my phone for nearly four years, until my phone started wearing out. It was showing wear and tear from living in my pockets, purse, being dropped on hard surfaces, etc., but it served well in keeping my phone safe. When I upgraded my phone, I immediately ordered another defender series for my investment. I've had the new defender series for about two weeks now, and I am pleased. I think it is lighter compared to my old one, but it hugs to the case well and brings me peace of mind that my phone is protected.

I only use Otter box Defender to protect my phones. They are the best I have seen. The only problem with the Otter Box is they have such a small selection of colors. Other case companies have a large selection of colors to choose from I believe last Otter box I bought I had a choice of about 6 colors.

My old iphone 5 died and I had to get a new phone. I got a 7 which meant a new protection. I purchased the pink box with the Grey slipcover so that the phone could be easily seen inside a black purse. I love it! Especially the Grey slipcover because it reminds me of my deceased son Grey and because it is a soothing color; feels good and is functional.
