We are sorry that this Defender case broke within the first week. Our records indicate that only the hard plastic inner shell was ordered. If this is true then that would account for the weird edges and broken case.

Love the color and quality of this phone case. I'm the type of person who always drops my phone so I knew when I got an iPhone I had to get an otterbox to protect it and so far so good I have done like one or two little drops and the case and phone is still intact. To me the online picture doesn't do justice to the actual product! Love the slim fit of the case plus the grip is great too!

Disappointed

I've had this case for a few months and thought it was perfect until I noticed the rubber started to tear and get loose around the circle. At first I thought nothing of it until it gradually started getting bigger until a whole layer was missing and then cover itself attracts so much dirt and is impossible to get off. I had high hopes for this case since I saw so many good reviews but I am sad to say I am disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've used otterbox for years. No problems whatsoever. I wish otterbox would come out with a "lifeproof " type case that is completely protected from liquids. Thanks otterbox for making great quality products.

For my iphone7i had originally bought a tempered glass screen protector from Zagg and a slim case from Case Mate. Within one day, the tempered glass chipped and cracked. The case was ok but nothing to brag about. I knew I had to get something with better protection so I shopped online at Otterbox. I was quite hesitant to buy an Otterbox case because I already knew otterbox was bulky and I didn't think I was going to like the feel of a bulky case in my hand, but i took the risk because I'm crazy like that, and bought the Defender case. Turns out that I LOVE everything about it. I love the rubber grip which prevents the phone from slipping out of my hands. The volume and power buttons are a perfect fit and are used with ease. I love the built in screen protector. I built my own case with the pink shell and the aqua mint slip cover. I love it so much that I bought the plum slip cover as well so I can switch when I get bored! This is a good looking case with excellent protection and is well worth the money!

I've never owned any other brand of phone case except for Otterbox. Although it is more expensive than other brands, it is definitely worth the extra money. Very durable and resistant to daily activities. A case will usually over a year and I also LOVE how Otterbox will ship you a brand new case ANYTIME it is damaged. All you have to do is follow the instructions on the website.
