Very bad and dull blades

Does not give close shave, takes over 10 minutes to get a C- shave. Norelco no longer producing quality.

Terrible Blades

Purchased these as a replacement for the HQ8. These blades constantly pull my hair and is far from the close shave I had with the HQ8s. I've given these blades a month to allow my skin to adjust with no luck. Not happy.

It's good to hear you gave your skin some time to get adjusted to the blades. Have you also tried switching between a dry and a wet shave? This might improve your shaving session. Also, we would advise you to make rotating movements with the shaver. This way our blades can 'attack' the root of your hair best. Too dull, inferior to previous HQ8

On my third set in 18 months. Most recent purchase came dull and were worse than the set I was replacing within a month.
These simply do not provide a decent shave. I am disappointed in the diminished quality and the clear indifference to so many negative reviews.

Really bad. Disappointed in the downgrade for HQ8

My replacements rip the hair out of my face. These ARE NOT true lift and cut blades. After trying to live with them I reinstalled my old blades. The worn out blades are still far superior to the SH50/52. Save your money to put towards a new razor.

A poor replacement for HQ8 Lift-and-Cut

I have both a Norelco Series 7 and Series 8 electric razor with lift-and-cut blades, which I have used for years. These SH50/52 blades are the "recommended" replacement for both razors, but the experience is much worse. The old blades cut smoothly while these pull the hairs in a way that almost feels like they're plucking rather than trimming. A close look at the old and new heads side-by-side reveals the downgrade in quality of construction. Very disappointing.

Poor performance

I’ve had the razor less than a month and already had to get new shaving heads. The new heads were very expensive. Very disappointed with this model.

SH30/52 better choice than SH50/52

My PT724 Norelco started with HQ8 blades and these SH50 are recommended to replace HQ8s. The second set of HQ8 I bought didn't shave as well as the first and after reading the reviews here decided to find another x-reference for shaver blades. I found the SH30/52 also work in my razor and After shaving with them decided they are WAY better than even the HQ8. They are not lift & cut or any other specialty performance, they just cut the hairs, leave the skin. Full slotted screens (no holes and blank spaces) and double the number of cutters. shaving time is two minutes on two day growth not the 5+ minutes on HQ8s.

I replaced the blades in my razor with these because the old ones was starting to show signs of getting dull. I put these new blades in to get a clean shave. The new blades would not give me a clean at all. I ended up puting the old blades back in since they done a lot better job shaving.
