[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] used in a raised bed garden. seems to be very good. nice good dark color. blended in well with the other dirt. blended well with the potting soil and other feertilizers no rocks or twigs like in some other brands

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This garden soil is great and is definitely a quality product. I used it for some herbs indoors and added it to some of my vegetable and fruit trees outside. It was not overly compacted and was easy to spread around. I love that it offers extra nutrients to my plants without much effort. I feel as though my herbs sprouted quickly and healthy looking indoors. Overall, I would definitely recommend this soil to maximize your garden's potential!

Great for Florida gardens

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent product. The moisture control makes a big difference when in the drier months in Florida. It seemed that I did not have to water nearly as much as normal. My veggies seem to be thriving. Looking forward to see how well they'll produce.

Full of weed seeds

I bought 70 bags of Garden Soil to fill newly built raised beds. After letting the soil settle, I returned to start planting in them. I found two of the raised beds full of weed seeds. The other beds had a handful of weeds, which I can accept. But the numerous weeds I found in the two beds I was not happy picking.
Cons: Difficult to use
Pros: Value
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Literal Trash- broken glass- in our bag

I have used MG products for years. When I went to go use this bag today, I opened it to discover all kinds of literal garbage in our bag of soil. Broken glass, shredded plastic, huge rocks- I can’t even believe it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Full of trash

I have always used Miracle Grow products and Have been happy with them. My husband purchased Miracle Grow Garden Soil Vegetables and Herbs. I was working the soil in my greenhouse and found pieces of glass, plastic and rubber in the soil. I figured it was a fluke so I opened another bag and found the same thing. I don’t want that stuff leeching into my garden and into my food. The bag says its made with compost but those items should not be in compost. I Do not recommend this product.
