Solid case and improved ergonomics
on June 16, 2025

Case fits really well and feels protective. All the swappable hand holds are an improvement on ergonomics and comfort, but the ability to choose is the best part. I also really dig the magsafe ring on the back. Small touch that make a big difference. Only downside is that the bottom of the case is a little flexible, so sometimes when you try to dock with the case on, it interferes with the USB connection. Not worth a star deduction though, IMO

The product doesn’t fit in the dock. The material feels cheap. The grips fall off easily. Disappointed

Does not fit well in dock

With the case on, you need to literally jam the device in the dock; over time, it will definitely scratch your screen. Pre-ordered two of them before reviewers got them, so I guess now I wasted money, as I got another case that fits just fine in the dock and offers padding and hard shell protection. I bought Genki products many times over, did many of their kickstarters, so I was not expecting this from them. Very disappointed.

The case is advertised as dock friendly, but does not fit in the dock. The grips are also extremely hard to remove and install if you wanna swap them out.

Amazing case and I've tried a few!

Specifically this is comparing the Attack Vector with the Killswitch and the NeoGrip. The NeoGrip was what I was most familiar with from my Switch OLED but I must say the grips feel so cheap compared to the Attack Vector, and it's really annoying to have to remove the case each time I dock especially with the Welcome Tour which requires you to constantly swap modes. I even scuffed up my Joy-Con from this, sigh. The Attack Vector I found to be the most comfortable, in particular the Anchor Grip. The texture is so good and I really feel like I have the support I need to both game and hold the console comfortably. The Killswitch I must say had the most premium packaging but I found it made my whole Switch 2 way bulkier, almost feeling like my Steam Deck to be honest. Compared to the Attack Vector I don't even notice the case on it. When it comes to docking I had no problems docking with the Attack Vector, I know there have been some reports on this but I also got an email that said they'll be sending replacements to make that even smoother. No complaints on my side - whereas I appreciate the Dock Adapter included with the Killswitch it kind of feels cheap, I still miss the ease of sliding the console in and out but with the Dock Adapter I have to literally hold it down while I peel the console out - I imagine this is really going to wear out the USB-C port. Comfort wise I do think the Killswitch grip feels good but for certain games it's not really ideal for me - and it's fallen more than one occasion on me. I'm not sure why but my Joy-Cons keep detaching with the Killswitch so ultimately I'm sticking with the Attack Vector which is honestly just a better deal. I should also note while the travel cover on both are spiffy, I found the Kilswitch one to make the console too big to fit my sling bag. I've already decided to go full digital so maybe that travel cover is a bit overkill for me.

Amazing case that fits perfectly into another case

The Attack Vector is an amazing grip case. The addition of the travel cover is optimal even if you are placing the Switch 2 on the couch for a second to have a bio break or grab a snack. The travel cover is snug, and takes a minute to get used to, but it really is a great protection for your screen and joycons and sticks. The sturdy shell keeps the screen protected and the grips are amazing at increasing the comfort of long play sessions. Once properly snapped into place there is no noticeable flex at the bottom of the screen. I have had no issues with my JoyCons “disconnecting” on their own, even when holding the switch by 1 JoyCon (to grab a drink or readjust my other hand). Occasionally the case may slide slightly off the joy con when playing intently, but it’s easy to slide right back on. I have had no scratching of my switch and I must have gotten lucky because I have no issues docking my switch 2. It’s snug, but I don’t feel the need to force it or as if I am going to damage my switch in doing so. (Note I did the first one with a screen protector on). i have experienced no overheating, no charging issues, and I dock my switch 2 daily and even leave it on overnight to charge. The grips are easy to swap out and make your experience completely customizable little grip on the right, big grip on the left, matched grips, etc.Paired with the Aegis Sheidl & Saya case, it becomes an essential everyday carry. I highly recommend Genki and these products. The fit is optimal from the smallest “feather” grips to the largest “Anchor Grips”. Genki is a great company to work with, they continually take the customer experience to heart and listen to their customers on how to better improve their products. Look everyone will flock to the internet to complain, that’s what the internet is 1 big complaint box. So listen to us when we have praise, because it is rare, but it is honest and know that there are more of us that want to build up businesses like Genki, than the naysayer that wants to tear them down.
