Mostly great but a little loose fitting and difficult to change trips
on December 24, 2025

This case and removable grips are mostly as advertised and are sleek and thin enough to still dock your Switch 2. The feel with the grips is mostly great except that the Jot-Cons shake/wiggle a bit when using it in handheld mode. And maybe I'm not getting something but I find it super difficult and tedious to swap the grips on and off. They have to be aligned absolutely perfectly and put on with the exact right amount of force. I am still glad I purchased this, but I was expecting a much more snug fit and seamless process to swap the grips like a DBrand case. For the price (even with the Cyber Monday discount) I must say this has too many compromises.

Works but needs more grip sizes
on December 31, 2025

Case works as expected, though the sizes of grip offered done have a great option for my hands. the large one is too big and the smaller one is too small to be comfortable. Need something more in the middle as an option.

Joycon shells won't stay on
on January 15, 2026

Anything I do has the left joycon shell and grip coming off. Can't pick it up from the joycon or the shell comes off and my switch falls to the ground. Even if I grab it elsewhere and can start playing, if I use any motion of turning the handheld switch, the shell pops off. Tried to see if it was a me/my switch issue but happens to my spouse and their switch as well. I've like all of the other Genki gear we've bought but this was a complete failure.

Disappointing

I have been trying to return this item because I don’t like the way it feels. It’s very well made, looks great and is sturdy, but I’m just not a fan of the texture on the grips. My hands slip and are too small for the grips. I’ve been reaching out to the team to return the product t and nobody will get back to me. Very disappointing.

Does what it says with a few caveats...

So the case DOES fit with the dock, but it's definitely not a smooth fit. You do have to apply a bit of pressure to get the unit in the dock and ensure contact. You also have to hold the dock when pulling the Switch out. The handheld grips do feel nice at first, but I'm noticing that the joy-cons don't feel as stable with the grips on. It's hard to describe, but it feels easier to "bend" the console at the attach point. I know there's a bit of give built in, but I don't feel 100% comfortable holding the console. It may just be a me thing, but I honestly don't feel that same give without the case. Also, the grip covers are ONLY useful if you plan to use the switch in handheld mode. You can't use the joy-cons as a controller while docked, since they don't fit in the in the standard grip, nor can you use them sideways. Removing the grip doesn't help either, since the attach point is unwieldy.Overall, if your primary use is going to be in handheld mode, this might be a good choice. If you plan on any other method of play, look elsewhere. Unfortunately since I opened the box, I can no longer return the case, so I'm stuck with a pretty heavy case of buyer's remorse.

Extremely disappointing for a preorder.

Pretty much have been disappointed with the preorder set due to the following reasons:• The grip shells are extremely easy to remove. When playing a game on handheld, the grips can easily come out of the grip. • The console shell itself also gets dislodged when trying to put it on the Switch dock. It’s a tight fit as well, so I’m afraid it might do more harm than good by possible causing a scratch on your screen without the screen protector.•My package also did not come with the joy station charging grip and the battery pack. Overall very disappointed with this product. I wish I could recommend this product, but there’s just so many flaws. I’m afraid it might even possibly scratch your console if not careful.

Solid protection and great grips - worth it overall

I'm pretty happy with this thing. It offers a nice layer of protection for the Switch 2, but mainly makes it more comfortable with the grips they feel comfortable in hand and make longer play sessions a lot easier. They can be a bit tricky to install at first, but once you get the hang of it, its not the worst also pretty nice that it comes with three different grip sizes to choose from. It also does indeed fit in the dock as well though it’s a bit snug, that’s to be expected though since the case adds a bit of thickness to the console. Overall, it’s a well-designed accessory and I’m definitely happy with the purchase. 👍

Nice concept but fails to live up to expectations.

Unfortunately the Attack Vector case doesn’t fit in the Nintendo Dock, which was the main selling point of this case to me when compared to the dbrand case.
