I own two. One in the basement tv room the other in the main living room. It definitely improves the sound quality of the TV. Both LG Nano 65". Only drawback is the price. One could achieve similar or better sounds more economically. The app connection works fine. I can play music on either or both at the same time.

Small with big sound

The Sonos Beam gen 2 is a small sound bar with a big sound. It is generally easy to set up and with a Android or Apple Sonos application, provides you with a way to control the sound from various sources. I previously had a small Bose sound bar and this by far has a much fuller, stronger sound. We have it in a small living area and the sound is full and does not sound like it is coming from a small box. One problem with sound bars and TV speakers, in general, is it is sometimes difficult to hear what people are saying. Words are drowned out by background music or because the actors are speaking in quiet voices. The Sonos addresses this with the ability to focus on voices through its center speaker and remote control. This is the primary reason we got it, it works very well and we are very happy with it. The one issue I have with the sound bar, ironically, is sound level output. Depending on the incoming source (tv, Netflix, Prime, Disney, Pandora) the sound from each source comes in at different volume levels which need to be adjusted at the remote control. For instance, tv has a weak sound and has to be turned up. Should you switch from TV to Netflix, the speaker blows you away and has to be lowered. It would be nice if the incoming sources could be regulated at the speaker level so that the sound comes through at a consistent level of loudness. The price is a little steep but I think it is well worth the money.
