I have the Sonos Beam Gen2 setup in two rooms. First room is a stand alone and the second is setup with the Home Theater Surround sound and subwoofer package. I am very impressed with the Dolby Atmos and overall quality of the sound.

After17 years I finally replaced my my Sony TV. it still worked well, but the picture quality didn't compare to today's technology. I originally planned to connect the new TV to my existing stereo, but rewiring everything seemed impossible. My son recommended the Sonos Beam Gen 2, as he was very happy with his Gen 1. I initially thought I might need to add a subwoofer, but the sound quality of my new Beam makes a subwoofer superfluous for my needs.

I love the sound of the sound bar, but when I try to talk with Alexa for a question or FaceTime I get a response from Sonos. It is not clear how I stop Sonos from hearing conversation meant just for Alexa. Help! (Please).

Perfect Solution to our Sound Projection Needs

After failing with a Bose soundbar, the Beam had no issues. Seamless integration with Samsung. Sound solves the TV/Streaming/DVD sound conundrums. The only problem I have is when I need to use Bluetooth headphones, it'll connect for a second, but the Beam keeps pulling control back. So, I have to unplug the Beam.

I bought it to replace TV Sound-bar to use to make TV volume clearer which it does nicely. I did not plan too but use it to play music and it is awesome. I now plan on adding speakers to use with Beam and on their own as well.
