Excellent Sound, but.....

Pros: Excellent sound even without a subwoofer. Works well so far with new Samsung Q7 TV. Cons: Tedious and sometimes awkward connection process. Would much prefer that at least volume, bass, and treble be controllable by a dedicated remote rather than your phone. Also, what happens when the TV company or cell phone company updates something that doesn't work well with Sonos, or vice versa?
Pros: Superior Sound
Cons: Difficult To Setup

i bought this for my gaming computer as the speakers i had were not very good. I tried the Ray and it sounded pretty good as well. I just this had a better sound.

I love the new beam, everything about is as described or better. I really enjoy the balance between the strength and quality of the output. This speaker has definitively improved my Netflix movie experience! My only con is that I cannot playback music on my Sonos speaker at the same time playing music on my google home speaker's already set up in the house.

Pleased with the Beam 2 as it was easily set up and the sound quality is do much better than the Samsung TV speakers. Like the dialog enhancement feature as I have some borderline hearing issues as I age. One issue with sound cutting out intermittently and had to switch from HDMI ARC connection to optical. This situation is a topic on Sonos user forums so not unique. I don't use voice commands or have a music subscription and perhaps an HDMI ARC-E would be better than my 6-year old TV.
Pros: Easy To Setup, Easy to use, Speech enhancement, Superior Sound
Cons: Issue with sound cutting out when using HDMI ARC

Perfect for a bedroom. Great sound. The HDMI single cable arc connection is simple and it just works. Had another soundbar with pass through and the sound never synched no matter what I tried. Airplay 2 also just seems to work. Mute through remote also works while it never did through optical on my speakers. When paired with an appletv it becomes a nice home stereo. Haven't tried the voice assistants much yet.

I replaced a Bose Solo 15 with the Sonos Beam and mini Sub Miniwoofer wondering if it would be noticibly better. And it IS!! The clarity, balance and imaging of sound are quite amazing for the size of the soundbar. Not to mention the built in smart features giving me the ability to listen to Sonos radio, as well as my other music streaming sources. Impressive sound! It's a keeper.

I am truly impressed with the Sonos Beam coupled with the Sub Mini in our bed room. Just bought a new OLED for the bed room and the new sound from the Beam and Sub are amazing.
