Beautiful Soundbar

Our old (8+ years) soundbar looked out of place after we changed up our living room. The Beam is exactly what the new space needed, I love that it's not as long as a conventional soundbar. It sounds great, but I gave it 4 stars because our old bottom-of-the-line Samsung didn't sound bad, and I'm not sure we can tell the difference.

I bought the beam for the bedroom as a stand alone system. The room is large but not big enough for the Arc which I use with a sub in the main TV room. I was blown away by the sound of the Beam. It is crisp with dialogue and deep with bass. It is very high quality. Maybe I'd add a sub for a bigger room or if i wanted to rumble more but it doesn't really need one.

Sound is the best, Alexa tragic

Sound is really the best in this price category, with or without using Dolby Atmos. That's why I bought it primarily. But if you want to use it also as a proper Alexa Assistant, it is not usable. It can do lot less than my old Echo Dot Gen 2, I wanted to replace it with Beam but no way... Multiroom with Alexa devices is also not possible as well. And as a bonus, you have to fake your location to make it work in all Alexa supported countries, because Beam only supports a few. But sound is really good so I keep it anyway, even if Alexa implementation is bad, so I keep Echo Dot right next to it.

Cons: Alexa implementation

This is our second sound bar and completely changes watching TV on the upstairs TV. We paired with two 1's and just love the overall sound. Install was so simple and intuitive and everything married right into our existing SONOS system.
