Recently updated to an LG G1 and was overall unsatisfied with how the TV sounded in our wallmount. I have a small condo, but the living room has cathedral double high ceilings. So I was really interested in a soundbar that could handle dolby ATMOS but also had no upward firing speakers knowing that those wouldn't work right with our awkward ceiling and wall positioning. Overall speaker sound from the new Gen 2 Soundbar is drastically better than the TV. Multiple options allow you to quickly boost speech clarity or reduce loud sounds at night. It gets louder than I need while maintaining clear sound. And I would also say it has more base than I need for a condo where I don't want to annoy the neighbors. But If I move I could add a sub later. Setup is super easy, and the app is fairly easy to use. Better than my setup and software experience with 2021 and 2022 LG tvs. Had a tiny bit of trouble figuring out how to double check the speaker settings, but otherwise it all worked out of the box in a few minutes of setup.

Love this speaker. Basically surround sound just from this one speaker. I highly recommend the sub to pair with it to really get the most out of it. Love the Sonos environment where you can easily link speakers together to have music everywhere.

...voice sync when connected to my LG OLED B7 65" and Optimum TV. I upgraded to Gen 2 hoping the better processor would fix sound sync issues but no luck. Still, the Beam is far superior to the TV speakers and I'm going to keep it and continue working on a way to fix the sound sync.

The beam has awesome sound depth for a sound bar. Somewhat of a learning curve since it's my first time setting up a Sonos speaker. But nothing is better in my opinion.

I got the beam2 honestly because my wife just wouldn't budge on the ARC as much as I tried to convince her. Now that I've had the beam2 for a few weeks using it both as our TV sound system and home stereo it has really impressed me, the simulated ATMOS is pretty cool and while not as effective as top firing or true ceiling speakers it's still a massive improvement over the TV alone. I've tried it playing music on full volume and there was zero distortion. Alexa integration and streaming from phone has been seamless, thanks sonos for raising the "bar"✌

Small Size and Great Speaker

The sound from the speaker is great and controls via app are easy and the automatic switching to TV is great. The only issue is the syncing of the audio and video specifically noticeable for dialogue. The offset is adjustable but seems to be different depending on what source we are using: cable, netflix, etc. So, looking into options to correct that.
