Love my Beam

Was having trouble with my stereo receiver - surround sound. Decided to buy the Beam Gen 2 for Christmas to replace it. Set up was very simple and easy. Sounds great. Sure glad I made that purchase and didn't invest in another receiver.
Pros: Dolby Digital 5.1, Easy To Setup, Easy to use, Night Mode, Superior Sound, Versatile, Wireless Surround Sound

I have been thru several sound bars looking for the best one. I bought a Sony that was okay and moved it too my children's tv after I purchased the Sonos to try on my tv. I love the sound quality on audio and music! it is Top Notch! You will eventually wish you had a sub woofer- that I have been told you can easily add afterwards. But in the mean time (as I have no more money to spend, I have children) The Sonos Beam as a stand alone without a subwoofer outperforms the Sony with a sub for clarity and great overall depth of sound. I would highly recommend it! Set up was easier than any other sound bar I have purchased and paired with my Sony Tv really well. Other sound bars I tried (samsung and LG) did Not pair with my Sony and geek squad took them back and gave me the Sony sound bar that worked with the Sony tv. Morale of the story is that you need to either buy the same name brand sound bar as your tv to get it to work or by a SONOS!
Pros: Easy to use, Speech enhancement, Superior Sound

Love the sound, hard to setup

Now that it is set up I love it and it completely changes listening to music and TV! The setup though is very difficult both on the app side and having to do a hard reset on the beam. Also, the volume button is glitchy if you use an Apple TV.
Pros: Speech enhancement, Superior Sound

2 weeks and stopped working twice already

Sounds great when it works but I've only had it 2 weeks and twice it's had moments where no find comes out of it. Both times I need to unplug the beam and my tv then plug everything back in and it works again. Kind of lame I have to do this weekly.
Pros: Superior Sound
Cons: Unreliable

The biggest problem with all of the sonos products is none of them support level audio output. The products I own are, Beam Gen (2), Sub (three) Ones, (two) one SL. Every time a live audio changes one song to another, audio gets very loud. Fix level Audio please

This device has been a great game changer when paired with our new television. We were amazed at how much better the sound quality is-dialogue is easier to understand and other audio effects are so much easier to pick up. It makes watching a movie at home even more enjoyable. It's also great to use as the speaker for your favorite music streaming service. We love this!

I tried several different brand sound bar for my TV in same range or may be little low but this guy sound output impressed me Best.. price wise little higher scale compared to Bose, LG etc but love the sound output!

Cons: Expensive, Need more control on app to adjust bass, etc

great fix for large room and a just ok tv

I had a big room with a just ok TV. The picture was fine, but the speakers just couldn't fill the room and I was having trouble hearing the dialog even with the volume all the way up. The Bean Gen 2 solved all that. Great room-adapted sound, and now completely intelligible dialog. Yay! Thanks Sonos.
