I purchased the 1st gen Beam for my 25 foot travel trailer and was very happy with the result. But it wasn't until I added a couple One SL's as rear surrounds in the trailer that I realize pairing products within the Sonos ecosystem is the secret sauce. Even my little big boss (who has never once commented on ANY audio/video purchase) was impressed. She actually said these words to me: "I have to admit - the camper sounds great." I asked her who she was and demanded to know what she had done with my wife. I've since upgraded the TV room at our house, using the gen 2 Beam, another pair of One SL's and the Sonos sub - absolutely incredible! Most recently, I picked the Sonos Amp to drive some in wall speakers on the main floor, allowing us listen to music everywhere in the house, all controlled from our phones. Again, my wife for the win: "Wow. Even I can figure out how to control this system." Sonos may have saved my marriage.
Pros: Different Music, Different Rooms, Easy to Set Up, Expandable, Superior Sound, Wireless
Cons: Needs additional Sonos products to truly shine

Everything is outstanding as advertised. My one issue was that the true sound room setup isn't yet available on my app because my phone is too new... Sonos, you're a premium brand, you should have this update out by now on your app so I can use all the features on my soundbar.

I bought the product to use with my new tv in the family room. It is great product with great sound quality movies and sports. However, the set up was difficult. It would be nice to have the option of setting it up connecting thru tv instead of using apps on the phone.
