Good, but not as good as I had hoped

The main reason I bought the Sonos Beam was because when I watch movies and TV shows on our television using the Vizio soundbar I previously had, I had a really hard time hearing the voices. I could hear music and background noises and special effect noises just fine but the voices were always subdued and difficult to hear. I would try to compensate by turning up the volume but that didn't really help and it irritated my wife who has sensitive hearing. One workaround was to wear bluetooth headphones or earbuds. If I did that, the voices were always nice and crisp and clear. But I wanted a solution where I wouldn't need headphones or earbuds. I had read that the Sonos delivered crisp audio so when the Beam -- which had good reviews -- went on sale, I bought it. Does it delivery crisp, clear voices? Well, sort of. I can definitely hear dialog better with this than I could with the Vizio sound bar but not as crisp and clear as it is with headphones or ear buds.

Cons: Dialog not as clear as it could be

Fine product. Very happy with Sonos Beam 2 now that I have progressed beyond a most frustrating set-up. Sonos needs to inform potential buyers and purchasers that the essential Sonos app download requires a minimum Android Version, past 7.0

Sound quality is deep and rich. Only wish it came with a remote. I tire of using app to up the volume. Cant seem to get tv remote to control audio as directed by the directions provided. Cant wait to get surround speakers to go along
