UPS delivered the speaker wall mount wrong place and when I FINALLY got it all the screws were missing. Speaker, of course, was perfect. I have several.

You can create a decent home theater system with Sonus. Add a sub and surround speakers to be truly amazed. Great system for movies and tv shows

Needed to do something about the sound on our new LG 43 inch flatscreen. Using a Harman Cardin receiver with a new Sony center channel speaker, and left and right stereo just wasn't working for us for reasons not worth getting into here but we were looking for a different solution and decided to go with the Sonos Beam. The good news is the sound is good and everything generally speaking is in sync where are we were previously often seeing audio and video out of sync. I don't know if it's the 15 foot ceilings or watt but the sound which is directed up as I said is good but it's not like I've got to get there so I can watch a movie and experience great sound (for example, listening and watching a live concert) I don't know if the ark would have been significantly better, but certainly that was much more expensive than I was willing to invest in this set up. By comparison, our TV room with the 83 inch flatscreen and home theater sound system is awesome and this is a little more than a third television set up we have with just a basic sound bar and subwoofer.

Love the sound quality. What would make it better is more connectivity options beside just the one earc option. You cannot connect other devices (like a blu-ray player) directly to the soundbar. The fact that unless you have a very recent model TV which comes with earc, you can't really get the most out of the Beam (Gen 2). To buy another TV just for this will add too much to the cost. Finally, airplay2 from a couple of Apple devices (Mac mini, iPad Pro) gets disconnected when soundbar is idle, sometimes you have to restart the device if the soundbar was idle for a length of time.

Are use it for sound instead of sound from the TV. It is much easier to especially hear voices with less background clutter. However, the sound occasionally skips and suddenly players and then goes back to normal.
