Not an upgrade from the flat tv speakers

Under most conditions, it sounds like a single mono tone speaker. Only one we are playing a full 4K very dynamic movie does the Beam kick in and work well with the Sonos sub

This is the third Bean that I bought. In the past, the set up was a breeze. This set up took me weeks. It would never finish the set up. I tried calling Sonos, waited on hold for 90 minutes, then was disconnected. Finally it worked. Maybe the recent software update has some glitches. Hope Sonos can figure this out ... I'm afraid to buy another Sonos product at this point

Had to jump through hoops to finally get a product that works. Called customer services tech line several times and insisted on a replacement for the faulty beam. Finally, got a new one and it seems to be working.

Slow to turn on and unnecessary app

Received this as a company holiday gift. I just wanted a sound bar for my tv, but the setup process requires you to install their app on your phone which is dumb for a tv sound bar. You'll start getting unsolicited emails from Sonos once you install the app. It is slow to turn on when the tv comes on, so you miss a few seconds of sound before it kicks in. It does not remember your volume setting when you turn the tv off, so you have to adjust it every time you turn the tv on. I would not recommend this for television use. Might be okay for streaming.
