Great sound for small space.

Purchased the sound bar and a mini sub for our townhome. I love the clear sound of any Sonos speaker but this soundbar and mini-sub together really works for our small living room. I plan on buying one or two of the portable add ons later.

Very loud sound, slick looking, works with Spotify and of course with my 77 inch LG OLED TV. I can experience home theater sound

Well worth the money

This speaker replaced a Samsung NT-400 and the difference is night and day. The Samsung was better than the TV speakers on a Sony 4K TV but failed to differentiate the range of sounds and thus sounded muddy. With this speaker you can get much closer to the experience intended by the sound engineers who worked on the audio to which you are listening. As a standalone it cannot capture surround sound like a multi-speaker system but one feels that nothing is missed in the tiny details. The Sonos room tuning is a huge advantage for getting the sound adjusted just right for your listening position and this features is really outstanding and a good use of the advanced microprocessors driving the audio processing for this speaker. Dialogue is very easy to hear and does not get lost although the volume still requires some adjustment when there is gunfire and other loud noises and you do not want to disturb other people. Maybe I need to learn more about Night Mode because I did not see it in the Sonos app. Overall Grade A for what it is and even better I imagine with additional Sonos speakers. It is not as good as two low-end bookshelf speakers for music but might be better with a sub-woofer. Highly recommended for small to medium size spaces.

Amazing soundbar

Love my Sonos Beam 2, I was not expecting to sound so good. Love to looks and design of the soundbar, it really make your living room sounds like a movie theater. Will be purchasing surround sound speakers and sub to bring the home theater together. Makes movies and TV shows sound 100x better than your standard tv speakers . Would recommend.

Love the sound, can't believe no backwards compatibility

I have plenty of Sonos products, so I'm writing this as a big fan of the platform and products. The Gen 2 Beam sounds great, as expected. The real problem is that I've invested so much in Sonos products that the Beam doesn't allow a Play:1 to be in same room with new Beam - should just work.

I purchased a Sonos Beam (Gen 2) soundbar after struggling with a Bose soundbar. I sent the Bose soundbar back. The Sonos is easy to setup and the sound is excellent - especially from a compact soundbar. Luv the night mode. Night sound reduces the intensity of loud sounds while increasing the level of quieter sounds, making dialogue clearer without having to turn up the volume.
