Simple install. I'm a sound snob and the product exceeded my expectations. There were a few tricks to get the sound synchronized with the TV. It may require assistance to located the necessary setting that has an unbelievably obtuse name - just go to the one you don't understand the name, that will fix it. Product is well designed, uses little space, fits nicely at the TV base, and plays music with great sound. The app is very good. Some not obvious items you need to find and memorize that we're not user obvious for me. But it's very doable.
Pros: Dolby Digital 5.1, Easy To Setup, Easy to use, Superior Sound, Versatile

Sounds wonderful between disconnects

My beam is connected to my Apple TV 4K and TV via ARC. Setup was a little unintuitive, and once it was going it was great. Since then, on two different occasions I get silence and the Sonos app asks if I want to connect to the TV. After 5 minutes I am getting music though Apple Music but all television is silent. Restarting, unplugging cables has no effect. After messing with Apple TV settings I finally get sound. Then it repeats randomly about a week later. I was 30th in line to chat with customer service, got an agent and was promptly disconnected with them after they got my information. My Arc, on the other hand instantly connected and has had zero issues with fantastic sound and presence. Yin and Yang I suppose. My This is my Sonos story.
Pros: Dolby Digital 5.1, Doubt Atmos, Superior Sound
Cons: Difficult To Setup, Difficult to Use, Disconnects often., Unreliable

I was using a Bose sound at for my older 55" tv. It sounded like Bose but I wasn't able to control any tv functions. The thought of using 3 remotes was a deterrent so I brought it back and got The Beam. What a great sound bar! I was able to link it to my cable and Roku remotes without a problem and the sound is more than I could've asked for considering the cost. I can't wait to really crank it up!!

I bought this to replace a soundbar from another company and the difference was night and day. The beam is so much clearer and has plenty of bass without a sub. This is my 4th Sonos product and I will be buying many more in the future.

I have had my Beam (Gen 2) for several months but just took out the box to install because I waited until I moved. I had my tech guy setting up all my stuff. This stupid thing said it needed a software update & it won't update. He spent hours trying at my house and on the phone. Now his bill is more than the beam & it still doesn't work!!!!
