It was decades ago when we bought a Sonos 3 speaker. We couldn't afford two. We're retired now and I bought Sonos Beam 2 to help my wife better hear TV dialogue. It does that superbly but it is so much more. All by itself the music is great and it coordinates perfectly with the ancient Sonos 3
Pros: Speech enhancement, Superior Sound, Wireless Surround Sound
The soundbar looks good easy setup, good sound both for the TV and music. I have had the soundbar for a couple of week and I am please with its preformance. I own two other Sonos products and I like all of them.
Pros: Dolby Digital 5.1, Easy to use, Speech enhancement, Superior Sound
Using as both a home audio system and to add surround sound to my new Samsung TV. Sonus setup was a breeze, integration with the Samsung took some effort but once it was done, sounds great. Definitely needs the Sub mini and Era 100s to punch up the sound. Getting equipment of 2 different companies to work together is definitely challenging.
Pros: Dolby Digital 5.1, Easy To Setup, Speech enhancement, Superior Sound, Versatile, Wireless Surround Sound
Came from Polk audio magnifi mini ax. Impressed with sq just using the soundbar able to hear surround sound coming from one source. Planning to enhance further with era 100 and sub gen3
I'm a huge SONOS person with an entire system at my primarily home. So it just made sense to get one for my vacation place. Normally the set up is a piece of cake. Unfortunately, my beam was not able to be added to my system after the system update. I tried everything and was even on hold with the 800-support team for over an hour. I then realized that I should try my iPad to see if that might work --- and to my surprise I was finally able to get it to work. I then had to do the same thing for my surround speakers and mini-sub. I hope SONOS figures out the APP and gets it fixed. I was lucky that I had another device.
