I have 7 sonos products in my home. I really love the sound. Im in Chile, and i have many problems in wireless. Doesn't work correctly. I use sonos with alexa and airplay. I recommend the product but no the sistem.
Pros: Dolby Digital 5.1, Wireless Surround Sound
Cons: Difficult To Setup, Difficult to Use

Great look/sound by won't play Alexa music

It's an improvement from my 5 year old Denon and mutes/changes volume thru Alexa which is one of the reasons I purchased it. However, it won't play my music, stating that Sonos is not enabled in Alexa which it is. I have 3 Amazon echo devices in my house but NONE active in the same room as the SoundBar so that is not an excuse for this limitation. Also, this soundbar app for modulating sound is only download-able on an IPad or Iphone. I have an Android phone and an IPad that is not new enough to be compatible with the app.
Cons: Unreliable

I ordered My Sonos Beam Generation 2 after Thanksgiving 2021. Setting it up was pretty easy and at first it sounded great. After a couple of weeks I noticed the lips syncing was way off. The sound also started cutting in and out very frequently. I tried to switch in-between my TV speakers and the soundbar, as well as unplugging and re-plugging it back in and nothing seemed to work. I requested an exchange so hopefully the replacement works better.
Cons: Not in Sync, Poor Sound Quality, Unreliable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
