Sounds amazing, but expected it to "just work"

Have had days of setup pain getting it to play well w/ my new Apple TV 4K and Hisense TV. Random sound drops in certain streaming services, no audio at all randomly after boot, CEC issues, and audio lipsync issues. Can't directly cast songs from Android. Shame b/c soundbar sounds awesome!
Pros: Dolby Digital 5.1, Speech enhancement, Superior Sound
Cons: Difficult To Setup, Lipsync issues, No Android casting support, Poor Youtube Music support, Sound cut-outs, Unreliable

I've done the Trueplay to get the best sound quality for the room, but I feel like I am constantly adjusting volume. It will be quiet when people are talking in a show so I turn it up and then blasting as soon as there is any bass. I've adjusted the bass levels too but doesn't seem to fix it. Good sound quality though.

The Beam Gen 2 is great and sounds great. I do not like the new app, the old was simple this one not so simple. Can I use tyhe old app with the eam Gen 2.

Music is very choppy watching movies

It takes about 10 mins for it to go away but when watching movies the sounds cut in and put every 10 seconds, its annoying and seem to be a problem with beam products. Hard reset and software up to date.

Purchased the beam to get music and surround sound. I have had sonos speakers for many years but the beam is worthless and tech support is horrendous. Hooked up the beam to my 2 sonos One's and I was able to get music through the speakers but was unable to get any sound from the TV. Tried on 2 separate TVs, one using optical output and using the ARC HDMI on another. Couldn't get it to work. Spent 3 hours on a call with tech support going through the tech 1 support team and tech 2 support team with no success. They said I needed to talk to tech 3 support, but they didn't have any appointments for 3 days. So I returned it. What a joke!!! I really want to give this product and tech support 0 stars.

The Beam Gen 2 has a malfunction that makes it go off randomly, sounding like a machine gun is firing in your home and only stops when unplugged. Hundreds of complaints read the same on the Sonos help group. I have two Sonos One SL, one Sonos Play:1, and a Sonos Move and love them all. Skip this.
