Overall sound quality is good but I wish I had more control on tweaking the sound like a more defined equalizer

There is only one TV in our home, much of the evening Music Choice or YouTube music plays as we relax. Our former speaker aged out of "smart" realm. Enter the recently purchased Sonos Beam, an absolute upgrade in sound, convenience, and appearance. Hooked to an OLED smart TV, movies and sports are more enjoyable as well. I have had the sound bar for about 1 1/2 years and it seemed ok. Not very loud but good sound. The part few months it works when it wants and when it does work and there is any type of bass sound it sounds like a tractor truck. I have tried to google the problem but have had no luck. I have attempted to call the company and no luck there. I did pay a good amount for the sound bar and was hoping to get more than 1 1/2 years out of it. I just I need to go back to my Sony products.
