Everyone recommended to me to get the Sonos soundbar over the Bose. The Sonos Beam Gen 2 was on sale so I thought I would give a try. The sound quality is very good. The problem I have are the features that this more affordable soundbar lacks. It is not Bluetooth capable and it does not play downloaded music folders on the Android platform. As a result, I can only use this soundbar for TV viewing and music streaming services. It may produce a great sound quality, but it is not as versatile as the competitive brands.

Cons: Difficult to Use

The Beam is compact and complements our modest entertainment center in our living room. It was very simple to connect to our television, and the app is reasonable intuitive for setting up the soundbar. The sound that emerges from the Beam is larger than its box. I really appreciate the solid fidelity at any volume. And the speech enhancement feature is surprisingly effective. It's subtle, but it makes a difference that I appreciate. I would easily recommend the Sonos Beam Gen 2.

Perfect addition for small guest room. Mounted under 50 inch TV, airplay 2 means it will double as a sound system. There are cheaper products that do more but sound worse. There are more expensive products that sound better at a substantially higher price. For overall quality and value this is hard to beat. I do recommend adding the small subwoofer. As a pair it's hard to beat. The SONOS App has provisions for streaming as well. Pricey, but worth it.
