Need newer TV to experience best sound

Make sure your TV has a HDMI arc or HDMI Earc connection. If not the Dolby atmos and Alexia features won’t work. This diminishes the sound quality of this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just what we wanted

We have a small living room, so needed something that would produce clear full sound without the need for tooooo much volumn. After using the option to set up the speaker with the room, I was blown away by the quality of sound. It has a surround ability that makes it seem like there is something going on outside of the living room, but the Sonos is actually pickup up sounds from the TV movie that we otherwise wouldn't hear. Excellent product!

Took a bit to setup but once that was remedied it works good. I like the size because we are limited to what will fit in our area

Tried both Sony HT G700 and Sonos Beam Gen 2 with Sonos Sub Mini which simply outperformed Sonys....Worth the money. Also the Atmos and sound quality are amazing.

Interesting story

I was using a Dennon surround system before. I also had a Sonos One that I used for Spotify music. I was disappointed in the Sonos One because they lack higher frequencies. Then I replaced my "system" with a Somos Beam. It has very nice sound but had no surround or subwoofer. I had hoped to use my Sonos One as a rear speaker, but you need 2 of them. So I bit the bullet and bought a second Sonos One, set up the surround and WOW. The TV, movies and and music are wonderful, even without a sub. I'm very happy.
