Don't get me wrong, its a beautiful piece of equipment but on its own the sound is OK. I have it as a stand alone speaker in my main living/dining/kitchen area with ceilings may up to 20 ft. At the very least to get true immersive sound, I will new to add 2 Era speakers. Its crisp, clear, with decent bass which I dont care for, but the quality of sound output is mostly dependent on the source. Netflix movie in Dolby 4k HDR, the speaker is fantastic. Regular TV, nothing crazy but it does enhance dialogue which is what I was ultimately looking for. The fact that I can only play music to it through the Sonos App and no bluetooth feature for the cost is not ideal. The Sonos app is not that great to play Spotify, for example. And as for music sound, its good, not great and is not loud enough. I was expecting a deeper, richer, lounder sound. Just being honest- I waited forever to get this speaker and I am underwhelmed, but I love it and realize for the space I have it set up in, I need more speakers. In a medium size room with 4 walls and regular ceiling height, I am sure this speaker is fantastic.
While I havent completely put this product through its paces. I can say that it is at least 2 steps above the soundbar I previously had. I have used it mostly for music and am thus far impressed!
Pros: Easy To Setup, Easy to use, Superior Sound, Wireless Surround Sound
I bought the beam and two era 100's and they work really well together. The set up was so easy and the results were beyond what I anticipated. I would highly recommend Sonos to anyone seeking quality speakers that deliver!
Pros: Dolby Digital 5.1, Easy To Setup, Easy to use, Speech enhancement, Superior Sound, Versatile, Wireless Surround Sound
