Already had some Sonos speakers and sub in the house. Wanted better sound from the TV so decided to get Beam. It sounds great, especially paired with the sub, and integrates nicely with my existing system. It's a little more expensive than I would've liked, but given the convenience of plugging into my existing system, I felt it was worth it.

Cons: Cost, Soundbars cannot give you true 5.1

Generally a high quality sound bar that is easy to use. But, the app is a little cumbersome, and you can't easily play your own music - only streaming services... I did upgrade with 2 era 100s and the mini-sub, although I'm still trying to get atmos to work.

I needed a soundbar for my living room TV. Since the TV room isn't too big, the Sonon Beam is a perfect soundbar, Pros: the size is perfect and yet produces amazing sound. The app is super helpful for controlling the soundbar. Cons: there's a distinct lag between when the person says something on TV and its output from the soundbar. I tried the lag settings in the app but it didn't help. Also, if you're looking for a good base, you will have to invest in a subwoofer as the bass in this soundbar is nothing to write home about.
