Finally purchased a Sonos Beam. (Had been waiting for the death of an ancient Bose 3-2-1, to no avail.) Beam is EZ to set-up, sound is rich. We can listen to music apps & control the volume of the TV & other apps from our phones. We shouldn't have waited so long to purchase! Will be adding the Sonos subwoofer soon. I received the Gen 2 Sonos soundbar as a gift and just hooked it up to my TV. I had an old Samsung soundbar and I'm telling you, there is no comparison. The sound fills my family room which has an 18' ceiling. I love that it is now compatible with Alexa, my phone or the TV remote. I had a Sonos speaker in the family room but have now moved that to the dining/kitchen area because the new soundbar will now fill up the family room. I can run one or two speakers with music from any source I choose. This is a wonderful speaker.
