The beam works as expected from the specs But it took some doing since not all the information on connecting was available when purchased. Not sure the average person could connect without help. It also seems that not every TV would support the USB power connection required by the Beam My LG disconnects every so often, it does reconnect on its own just annoying. I use the BEam in conjunction with ERA 100 surround and works well but I think it separates too much of the surround. I was used to the Bose system I had which gave a different surround sound. Also not sure why you went with the amp in the Beam it caused me to lose the connection of my receiver and would now need to purchase additional speakers to drive my DVD/CD, Phono ETC. If I had known I may not have purchased these items. Be more informative to the Public of how your systems work. Thanks for listening
Have the soundbar set up under my Samsung TV in our media room. It's not a huge room but the Sonos certainly has the chops to fill the space with sound. Set up was quite easy as I had already downloaded the Sonos app to my iPad. The sound quality is superb and I'm quite pleased with the performance of the soundbar. My only criticism, and it's a small one, is the Sonos app. It's not intuitive to use and though no one really wants another remote it may be helpful to some users to include one in the box.
Pros: Easy To Setup, Speech enhancement, Superior Sound
In of itself a bit disappointing, I was expecting more. Maybe I should have paid more and got the Arc? On its own, the sound quality doesn't wow me, but with additional surround speakers (two Play 5s) and grouped in the same room via Sonos Port with a Bang and Olufsen A8 speaker that acts like a sub-woofer and provides otherwise missing mid range richness, the group as a system is pretty awesome. The Beam provides voice activation and alarm and sleep functionality to the group that the other components would not otherwise have, and it earns its keep for that functionality more than from sound quality.
Pros: Easy To Setup, Easy to use, Speech enhancement, Versatile, Wireless Surround Sound
