Terrific for just listening to music or watching TV. As we age our hearing diminishes and we were missing a lot. With "Beam" dialogue is much easier to hear and understand. Easy set up and quality is obvious.

I was amazed when I set up this bar and the sound was very tiny. This was my first Sonos ever and heard great things but had to return it because at 100% volume I could still talk normally and go over the speakers sound. I changed my TVs settings like Sonos recommended bit nothing changed. I was very discouraged to send them back, but had to.
Cons: Difficult To Setup, Poor Sound Quality

Beam is Great but Setup with Gen 1 speakers Problematic

I replaced my Sonos playbar with a beam and moved the playbar to the bedroom. Found the setup to be difficult as the Gen 2 Beam did not really play nice with my Gen 1 sub and speakers. I did finally get it working though. That said, the app seems a tad confused by having both the beam and playbar on the network.
