I purchased a Beam 2 for my living room along with a Sub Mini and two One SL speakers as rears. I then upgraded the rears in the living room to Era 300 speakers. My second and most recent Beam 2 was purchased for the bedroom to join the One SL speakers. Eventually I plan to upgrade the living room to an Arc and the full sub. I can't say enough about how much I love my Sonos setup. I even added a Roam to the mix.

I switched the original Beam for the Beam (Gen 2), and definitely noticed a difference. I installed this on a very old Sony TV, which does have a HMDI slot, and had a little trouble getting things to work, likely because of me. However, I highly recommend it, especially if you have an other Sonos products.
