I purchased the Beam for the Livingroom and it sounds great. It takes up very little space and sounds good.
Pros: Dolby Digital 5.1, Easy To Setup, Wireless Surround Sound, remote control use.

We are senior citizens and the Sonos gen 2 sound area is great. We can hear the dialogue 10 times better than with our old sound bar. It's easy to set up especially if you're not tech savvy such as us. I ahighly recommend this product especially if you have trouble hearing the dialogue on your tv.

This is my second Beam speaker. I decided to upgrade from my first Beam which was a 1st Generation speaker to align with the rest of my speakers which are all Generation 2 speakers. In addition to the Beam, I have a Sub and 2 One speakers to complete a surround sound system for our TV. It was simply to set up and sounds great! Highly recommend Sonos speakers if you want to cut the clutter of speaker wires and go wireless.

Beam makes the dialog much clearer than the stand speakers inside the TV. It practically set itself up and I found a lot of good sources for classical music on Sonos Radio. One thing, how do I cut the bass back a little bit? Overall, it has amazing sound for such a little package. Oh yeah, I did set up the Sonos control software on my iPhone.

I replaced an Atmos LG soundbar that was expensive and a huge piece of S. This little Beam sounds twice as clear, powerful and the dialog is clear. I wish I would have replaced that LG a long time ago. I like the Beam so much I bought the mini-sub and a couple of Ones as well. It's complete overkill in my space but sounds great!
