We've been using Sonos products in our home for over a decade. Adding the Beam to our existing setup was fast and easy. It's warm clear sound fills the room. We're extremely satisfied with this purchase.

Great soundbar but not suited for apartments

This soundbar definitely goes loud enough even for a relatively big room. I bought it for my condo and found myself having to turn it down several times because it will definitely shake your floor and get you a noise complaint from the neighbours even without a subwoofer! Maybe not the best choice for an apartment, but you definitely don't have to worry about the volume if you buy it for a house with a larger living room. There's nothing to say about the sound quality - it's excellent and you will enjoy watching TV shows and movies on it especially if you're into superhero movies like I am. Only taking one star off as there seem to be persistent problems (not just limited to my unit) with setting up Trueplay, but you definitely don't need that to make it sound great.

I use the product in a 15x15 room with an 8" hallway nearby. Mostly used for application-based content such as Netflix,Disney plus ect for the whole family and some ambiance music here and there. I found that it does a great job at dispersing sound throughout the whole room equally but lacks in deeper tones such as bass.
Pros: Easy to Set Up, Expandable, Great App, Wireless
Cons: Good sound quality, but not exceptional, No remote

Great sound at a cost

I received my Sonos Gen 2 from a rewards program. The sound is pretty good all around but you have to almost max the volume out for TV. I don't have the bass or satellite speakers. I love I can use voice control using Alexa. The only problem I see other than volume is cost. Again, I didn't pay for mine directly. Sonos is an expensive system. I would love to add the bass speaker but no way at what it cost.

Cons: Cost, Low volume for TV

My music; both classical and 60's - 70's rock sounds absolutely phenomenal! Movies and TV shows are also greatly enhanced. The only one issue I have is that the movie and TV dialogue is low-volume. I saw in the advertising that there was a "feature" that corrected that. I cannot find it ... disappointing as that was one of the reasons I bought the soundbar. I wish someone would fix it!
