I set it up with a tv used primarily for movies. I paired it with 2 Play Ones for some decent surround sound without the need for purchasing a new receiver. It sounded very good except it needed to work hard to produce the bass at the expense of other sounds. By adding the Sub-Mini this problem was resolved. Very happy with the set up now.

So pleased with our Beam Gen 2! The sound is amazing and Speech Enhancement is just what our aging ears need. Incredible engineering to create sound that surpasses our old Bose 321 system without an external subwoofer. It is even working with the ARC/CEC on our 2010ish TV so our Roku remote runs it all. Absolutely happy with our first Sonos!
