helps with dialog

IM using the arc just for basic viewing to help with dialog. Sound is clear and plenty of bass but I dont hear any kind of separation or surround. Nice for music and just to beef up TV sound. Doesnt take the place of a separate home theater system but fine for what IM using it for

I set up the Beam (Gen 2) with my Two Sono's Ones to my LG 65" TV. EASY set up and great sound. One issue, every once and a while the sound 'dims' a great deal for a few seconds and then comes back. Can not figure this out. No it's not the 'Hey Sonos' or 'Alexa' voice command. Worked through trouble shooting that. I'm hopeing Sono's will help.

The sound is amazing, it's pretty easy to use. It's cool looking. I can literally just touch the top to play music I had a pro set it up for me with a new tv and then discovered it did all these great things!! Def recommend

Excellent, immersive sound - don't expect full surround soun

I love this soundbar. It's compact and fits in the space we have under the TV. We don't have a huge family room so it fills it with sound superbly. The bass level is ok, not great (get a woofer for that). It's easy to set up with the app. The Dolby Atmos sound is expansive, bit don't expect it to feel like sitting surround sound or coming from the ceiling. My biggest complaints that would keep this from being 5 stars are the it doesn't do Arc (needs eArc) for Atmos from the TV (can use optical for Dolby digital), and that the TruPlay calibration doesn't work with Android. Hopefully they fix that soon. Otherwise, it sounds great!

Better sound

The sound is better than with the Bose unit we used for 8 years. However, it has not been as beneficial to me as it has for my wife. I wear hearing aids and dialogue is difficult to understand. The Sonos Beam has made dialogue somewhat more clear, and between it and CC I don't have to ask "What'd he say"? quite as often.
Pros: Speech enhancement
Cons: Difficult To Setup
