There is a similar model in black that has a mesh seat. It gets poorer reviews because the mesh seat does not support as well and fails frequently; even the floor model of the mesh seat was already falling apart. However this fabric seat is great - everything I expected. Also give credit to the manufacturer for packaging the chair so much of the bubble wrap can easily be re-used. That was unexpected and appreciated.
Not a comfortable chair. Seat is very hard and it does not lower enough for a 5’ person to have feet flat on floor. If I would have realized it before it was assembled I would have returned the chair. I had to have delivery because the box is too large to fit in my car. Never again will I order without trying in person first.
Like the chair but needed a stronger person to put the wheels on

I tried the chair in the store before I bought it and I'm glad I did (despite Covid19) After reading online reviews of various chairs I realized I needed to sit in them. This chair is almost small enough for me. I'm 5' 3" and even with this chair at it's lowest setting I need a foot rest. The seat and back are comfortable and I'm no longer hunching over my laptop. I like the mesh back - it has a little give to it. Base and riser of the chair seem to be all metal. All the screws and the hex wrench needed to install them are included. To get the wheels installed I took the base and wheels back to Staples. They installed them (by hand) very quickly. You have to twist and push at the same time. I'm not strong enough. That's why 4 stars instead of 5
The chair is very comfortable it looks good I like the combination of materials and colors between the padded black seat cushion and the breathable blue mesh back in addition to the several levers to adjust the arm rest seat back recliner etc. and for the price it was a stealing!
Very pleased with this chair! Good value and assembly was manageable. Arm and seat heights adjustable too.

My lower back hurts

First off I've had to tie the moveable lower back support into place for it to actually stay put and not keep sliding back down to the bottom. This chair causes me a lot of (distracting) lower back pain after 5-6 hours of total use in a day. Something about the way the pelvic area slopes away from the body coupled with a downward slope where the butt goes just doesn't give me good support at all. The adjustability of the arm rests and movement of the back rest are nice but I'll still be getting a new chair soon enough regardless.
